As a rule of thumb I would say, small file, small handle; large file, large handle. **Q: Are these suitable for a hand garden trowel** A: I Do not think that they are big enough to take the tang of garden trowel . Look for larger handles. **Q: I bought this with bahco 4-187-05-2-0 extra slim taper sawfile 5in but hole is way too big for it while it was showing up with this file** A: Interesting statement. Is there a question? Not worth sending it back. Review product and save it for some other use later. Alternatively, Fill or partially fill the hole with wood or glue e.g 2 part epoxy resin, the cheap £1 sets are very good and you'll have plenty left over for future use. If the difference is small, match sticks can be used . **Q: Can i insert a 6mm or 10mm rubi scoring wheel inside this?** A: This type of handle is designed for a tapered piece of metal to be inserted (a "tang") so that the further it is pushed in the tighter it gets. It looks to me like the Rubi wheel holder has parallel sides and is too large in diameter.
