The meter is basic, but has all the functions and ranges you would want for most electronics work. The broad specs on this are very acceptable for general use, 50Mhz will do most things, the 125MSa/s sample rate is good enough for my use. And the frequency generator is an incredibly useful feature. Not to mention the multimeter, very handy. If you don't own a scope, and you're curious. I would highly recommend the one I bought. I like the frequency generator for fault finding. I've mainly used this on vintage guitar amps. But I have also used it to diagnose injector signal issues in cars. Obviously just two channels, so you can only compare two cylinders at a time. I have a four channel bench top oscilloscope, sampling at the standard 1GSa/s, but I haven't had cause to use it since getting this. It's so portable, does basic DMM functions too and is just good enough for most things I need. I guess my use is diagnostics and fault finding. Fantastic value for money.
