Non stick & it works **Q: Will this rice cooker work with brown rice?** A: Absolutely! Just increase the water by a bit more, as brown rice is firmer and requires a bit more water. Trial and error is the secret. You will know your rice cooker after using it a couple of times. **Q: is there teflon in the cooker?** A: The cooker is lined with a non stick coating and it probably is teflon **Q: Is this product 220v?** A: On the bottom it says 120 V, 60hz. I like it btw, but can't figure out how to use the steamer. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Iloved *by C***A on 12 June 2026* I am extremely happy with this Cuisinart rice cooker! I have one that is over 15 years old , used min 4 times a week . The only reason I replaced it is the ex used steel spoons and the pot is scratched . Still works great but scratches bugged me so I gave it to my sister. This is by far the best unit out there. It is simple with no computers and works like clockwork....would give 10 stars if I could ## Frequently Bought Together - Cuisinart 8-Cup Rice Cooker, Silver, CRC-800NAS - Cuisinart CPC-900 6-Qt.
