But in either case, I don't recommend this product - I burned through 3 blocks on my first attempted cleaning and still had more than 1/4 grill surface left. I thought they would last much longer but they crumble and turn to dust VERY quickly. They work and I liked the idea, but would need a closet full to last the season. **Q: Does it remove rust from charcoal grates?** A: It should it removed rust from our hibachi grill. **Q: Use on cast iron skillet/wok? Will it remove built up seasoning?** A: These things will remove anything built up if you scrub hard enough. It seems it would be much easier to use a chemical compound to remove the built up seasoning. They work well on grills because it’s a small surface to clean. **Q: Does it remove rust from charcoal grates?** A: I used these blocks to cheap my barbecue grill. It did remove rust but you do need to use numerous bricks to do that effectively --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pl/products/524733887-grill-cleaning-stones-heavy-duty-griddle-bricks-flat-top-griddle](https://www.desertcart.pl/products/524733887-grill-cleaning-stones-heavy-duty-griddle-bricks-flat-top-griddle) --- *Product available on Desertcart Poland* *Store origin: PL* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
