These are NOT phillips head screws, these are T-Star (aka TORX) flat heads. Nowhere in Amazon's description does it clarify this. I am sure it's because whoever put together the description had no clue of the difference. Kind of like the lack of due diligence on the stuffed and very questionable reviews you'll find on many products. You can try and bring these sort of things up to Amazon, but it's an exercise in futility.TORX vs Phillips vs Single-slotted==========================I much prefer the T-Star heads as this pretty much eliminates stripping and camming out (jump out at a lower torque) of phillips head screws. I have pretty much given up using phillips head screws these days, unless it's a simple project and I already have the size I need. I really dislike and have no use for single-slotted flat head screws and will not use them as they are not good at all for anything requiring the slightest torque and are a pain to center and frequently slip. The T-star heads on the other hand are great and frustration free and pretty much self centering.Personal Use==========I have these screws in several different sizes as I typically purchase a box whenever I need a particular size even if I don't need the entire box for the particular project I am working on as I always find a use later. I always keep a supply of 1 1/4 and 2 inch sizes as I find myself using these sizes the most.They don't bend, they don't pop and they are easy to remove should the need ever develop. They come in different lengths, but I find the 1-1/4 inch fits the majority of my needs. I always order another 240 pack whenever i get under 50 or so screws. ### ⭐ Buy at store at you’ll get more screws- open boxes *by M***D on Reviewed in the United States on November 5, 2020* Box shipped half full and open. Poor value as the missing screws were not even in a bag. They should ship via a box and only sealed merchandise. My screws both order had the seals broken.
