**Q: when folded, the fixed tube doesn't show up in the picture. to fold it, does the fixed tube has to be removed?**
A: No. The legs fold without having to remove anything.

**Q: Does this not fit the mevo plus?**
A: It should. The mounts on the mevo are the same

This stand works perfectly with my Mevo 1st generation. It extends to about 5' high so you get a nice view of the room when streaming a big event. The simple design makes this clean and does not block view of the people in the room as compared to a traditional tripod. I can now put this right in the middle of the room and stream without obstructing the view of those behind the camera.This is very lightweight and easy to carry. This would be even better if it came with a carrying pouch or bag.
