It holds the knee straight and is comfortable. My 98yr old mother fell and twisted or sprained her knee joint. No torn tissue, thankfully. But for a week I had this device on her day and night, and we believe it helped the healing and for sure eliminated pain of knee bending.The only caution is that even though you adjust it quite snugly, if you put it on over pants material for overnight, it can somehow slip out of place down to the ankle, so we suggest putting it on direct to skin for best adhesion of placement.We are so glad to have had the FitPro Adjustable Post-Op Knee Immobilizer 12" from Amazon.- RK ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars It fits very well. *by J***S on Reviewed in the United States on August 3, 2019* It was far superior to the one they gave me at the hospital which seemed to be for a 320 pound man. I"m 160 and I could never get the hospital one tight enough to stay up on my leg. Therefore it rubbed two sores on my knee and made a bruise on my foot. This one fit extremely well and it stayed where it was supposed to stay.
