I thought it would be ideal as I often have three children that sat in the back of my car arguing over iPads. It positions well in between the seats. The only issue I found was that my passenger and driver seats sit at different levels so the pole does look wonky but that is the fault of the manufacturer. It holds an iPad mini and an iPad 10 perfectly well. The fit is perfect. It was super easy to install.
