This book was to be a gift for an unwell fisherman. My husband has a copy printed before his birth in 1946 and thought it would cheer up his friend to read such interesting tales from earlier times. How disappointed was he!The book contains about half of the material originally published. It does not mention this in the advertisement for the sale. It is so abridged against the original version that you, I believe, would be well outside the terms of the Trade Description Act.I await your reply with interest.
