**Q: How far apart do two of these fixings need to be from each other?**
A: Not sure I understand your question but i'll try to answer.
These need a 6mm drill bit (I think) so I would say you'd need at least 12mm between two drill holes and that also depends on what you're drilling.
Wood for example versus plaster - Hope that helps ;)

**Q: What's the difference between this and the other 8x40?**
A: The 8 refers to a number 8 screw which is wider than a number 6 screw, the 40 refers to the length in mm.

**Q: Is 60mm the length of the plug or screw?**
A: I think you will find its the length of the screw, the 8x40 plug is 40mm long and 8mm diameter

These wall plugs are amazing and super secure. If you live in a tenement flat with concrete/brick walls these are a must and will hold up shelves and anything you need like towel rails and everything without you needing to worry about them collapsing or crumbling or coming loose because they really do be gripping hard. I had a selection of screws and raw plugs, and was trying to put up some Ikea floating spice rack shelving. The walls weren't in the best condition, and no matter what I used, the plugs and the screw just fell out. I used these, and they were excellent. They fastened firmly, and securely, even on poor condition walls. Very surprised. Excellent quality. And reasonably priced. I will only buy these in future.
