I cook a lot, and at one point worked in professional kitchens, which taught me very quickly about what qualities I want in my kitchen supplies. This apron is exactly the same style I had for about 4-5 years. It took me a while to identify which apron it was because I wanted the same one, and once it arrived, I was very pleased to find out it is the style, comfort, color, easy to use and high quality apron as the first one. This apron looks great, is self adjusting, and uses a single buckle so I don’t have to fuss with ties, and once it’s adjusted the first time, there’s no need to ever change it, just slide it over your head and clip the buckles in the back. It’s always hot in the kitchen, and this canvas-type, heavy weight, cotton fabric is comfortable and breathable even when I’m working at full capacity. The pockets are all very usable, easy to find things in, and are structurally sound. I wash my apron regularly, and it still looks as good as it did when I first purchased it. The kitchen is my domain, and when entertaining guests, I am doing everything I can to make sure every dish comes out at the right time, which means I don’t want to have to change my clothes after I’ve put all the well-timed dishes on the table, so I want an apron that functions properly, protects my clothing while I’m working, looks great and easy to care for. When I put this apron on, it means it’s go time, and I see it as a integral part of my kitchen activity.
