Review: Can't beat it for the price - Mikolo folding weight rack- white. If you're reading this, it's cuz you're like me and looking for 1) a weight rack that saves space, and 2) the best value without spending $1,000. I can tell you that this is probably the best you'll find. If you are rich, go buy a Rogue set for all the monies. It will be a great piece of gear, no doubt, and I have nothing against it. I'm just not rich. This is very simple and still surprisingly well thought out and well built despite its price. If you have a standard wall and you have basic skills and tools, this should not be difficult to install. (I installed mine in a garage with a concrete curb and off-center studs so it was more fun for me). The included attachments are very sturdy and well made. Like I said... you just can't beat this for the price, at all. My only gripe is that they sold a "safety bar" attachment for benching, but it has been unavailable or discontinued since I purchased the rack. I managed to find another brand that fit anyway, but it took me a long time. I like having safety bars to be able to bench to failure. Again, if you are like me and looking for space saving, cost saving, this is the end of the road and you should just click buy, cuz you won't find anything better.
Review: Excited - The rack feels solid, it looks good. The wife plans to use it so we opted for an interior install rather than the garage. I'm a stickler about centering wall-mounted items like this as well as using wall studs for anchoring (rather than dry-wall anchors), so I cut a couple 2x4s to length (the rack's wall plates are 3.5" just like a 2x4) and put those into the wall studs. Then I anchored the rack to the 2x4s. Height-wise this worked out well because the lower plate was able to sit in above my base boards (which are tall) and below a wall outlet (which is standard height). I installed by myself, which was not too difficult. I fully assembled the rack, laying on the ground in front of where I planned to install. I could then just flip the rack up into place and mark the wall where it would be level. In terms of utility, this things is great. The pull up bar was a selling point for me, and the "minimalist" appeal of being able to fold the rack up when not in use is nice. I do actually plan to keep it unfolded most of the time (the room it is in is dedicated to working out), which means the pulley system can stay attached, because it's really not in the way of squats or bench workouts. The j-hooks are wrapped in rubber, so they're strong, quiet and this particular style looks good. I'm contacting Mikolo to see about getting a 2nd set so my wife and I can maneuver between positions a bit quicker. All in all: a solid product. We're excited to get back to strength training, and this is admittedly helping keep that excitement going

Mikolo folding weight rack- white. If you're reading this, it's cuz you're like me and looking for 1) a weight rack that saves space, and 2) the best value without spending $1,000. I can tell you that this is probably the best you'll find. If you are rich, go buy a Rogue set for all the monies. It will be a great piece of gear, no doubt, and I have nothing against it. Pros: Saves space Easy to use Pretty solid considering all the moving parts Looks good Solid construction and engineering considering the price Cons: Installation not the easiest Installation instructions are not clear in a lot of the steps so you will have to figure stuff out on your own Some parts came with manufacturing residue and welding defects that lead to minor injury during installation. Update Oct 1st 2023: Seller reached out and corrected issue. Customer service top notch! 10 out of 10 recommend.
