Be careful with this little box because if opened the components can potentially be damaged. Just be careful if looking inside.I purchased this Ashilong rear view mirror display and the Pyle version that looks the same.Key note, make sure ground connection at source (mine were under dash attached to the metal with screws) are not rusted due to age. I had much camera interference on both the Pyle and the Ashilong only because my ground was not very strong due to a light coat of age rust.I will say that the Ashilong had much less jitter when I was facing the ground problem than the Pyle and has no jitter now that I have fixed that issue.I purchased both this unit and the Pyle version of same shape and size. These are the main differencesThe Pyle version has a slightly brighter glass mirror installed than this Ashilong version. To me I prefer the Ashilong because it isn't too dark for my taste, yet I do typically drive with the traditional rearview mirror in the andtiglare (dark) position. The difference is not very pronounced and only one or two shades of difference between the two products. I find them both bright enough for day and night use.The Ashilong does not come with a camera yet is less expensive than the Pyle as of this writing.The Ashilong does come with the wire cover for your windshield which I prefer to have. The Pyle rear view does not come with one of those. I have a dash cam so I like having the wire cover available. It took me a couple of minutes to realize that the wire cover included works on a slide mechanism that will extend it to the appropriate length for your windshield.I am glad I bought this and will recommend to buy this and then purchase a camera that is nice for backing up.I currently am using the COOLINT CT-106S 360 Degree backup camera with mine but you can choose what you like.As for the Pyle, I think that one may be a good option if you just don't want to spend the extra money for a separate camera, since for $5 more it does come with a license plate mountable camera. I just saw some some negative feedback in regard to that particular camera quality so I steered clear and purchased this and a different camera which I mentioned above.Lastly, I do not find the green power light on the mirror distracting, because it looks like it dims after coming on. Yet I have only experience with the Ashilong since I returned the Pyle before I could test it at night time.I give 5 stars because it is a nice replacement that looks factory and fit my default attachment on the window like the Pyle version does. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dark tint on mirror *by J***N on April 17, 2019* My truck has factory tinted back windows. With the tint on the mirror to it is very dark, to dark!But it was easy to install, solid constructionAlso keep in mind the picture and mirror reflection are both visible at the same time. When I use it I have to tip the angle so its reflecting the black rear seat.I only use it with my trailer backup camera or I would need a different setup. ### ⭐⭐⭐ This mirror is just okay. And it takes forever to come up and display an image when power is applied. That means, you have to sit there and wait for the image before you can move the car, once in reverse. Other mirrors have a trigger wire that instantly turns on the screen.
