I started using Moroccan Poly gel about a year ago and loved it, then on social media Moroccan showed the hard gel for doing the same and I decided to try it, for me this is way easier to use, and I still get the results I want. The consistency of the hard gel is that of play dough and makes it easier to roll into a little ball and place on the form or directly to your prepped nail to form. Please use gloves when applying to either the form or directly to your nail as it is a hybrid gel that contains acrylic and could make you allergic to acrylic which is in a lot of products that have nothing to do with nails. I tend to use it on my prep nails, as my own nails are the length I want and I find the results to look more natural. I have used all the colors intros kit and love them all and I also have a coral color that I bought separately. I love working with the clear to which lets my own nails shine through and the second or third week, I use a regular nail color on it for a different look. I never had a nail set lift and they usually last me a month, if I don't change them before that for a different look. I love doing my own nails, is a relaxation time for me and Morovan is my favorite brand for the hard gel. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This will be the ONLY way I do my nails and toes from now on!! *by C***S on May 29, 2023* The media could not be loaded. Wow!! I did not expect this to perform this well! I would recommend this to anybody! Even people who don’t know how to do nails! This is almost the equivalent of play-doh for nails. It’s so thick, you can shape it how you want. Hence being the reason why nail forms weren’t included (for the negative reviews mentioning such). You don’t need nail forms. You can apply this solid gel using tips, duals, forms or just by sculpting the gel (as I did on my toes). I personally used tips to cut down on the shaping. This was my first time using this and they turned out great! The thickness is better than acrylic! I uploaded a video to show how I used it. I prepped the nail, applied the tips, applied primer then the solid gel. Then shaped the gel using the gel pen. You will have to cure for about 5-6 minutes but they wasn’t a issue as I cured my entire hand at once. Once they’re cured fully, I used a drill to even and smooth. Applied top coat and that’s it! I also want to add solid gel is not the same as gel builder. Gel builder is a lot more runny. You would have to apply more coats and cure in between each coat to achieve the same thickness. I ordered both at the same time and I found this to be easier to apply, thicker and easier to work with. Very happy and will be ordering more colors! I hope they make a larger selection of colors in the future as well! Happy happy happy! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ definitely easier and quicker than any other kind of nail extensions *by D***T on December 31, 2023* I have tried the poly gel nail extensions and thought it was supposed to be easy but it was too sticky and made it a pain to do, but this hard gel is where it's at! This stuff isn't sticky and is easy to mold into the shape you want it in and so much quicker and easier than the poly gel in the tubes! I have been buying this brand for a little over a year now and have a ton of their gel nail colors also and definitely find this brand to be one of my favorite. Definitely recommend for easy and quick nail extensions with pretty colors.
