## Questions & Answers

**Q: Would this be suitable for applying to an oil sump plug on a car engine?**
A: Hi. This is a non setting gasket cement. A new washer with the sump plug is best option, if plug is a taper thread then Hylomar is fine. It  is most useful when used with engine gaskets. (Sump, cam cover etc) , it does not clog oil pump pickup filter as some of the gasket cements can do. Have seen engine oil supply stopped where this has occurred. Regards.

**Q: Would this work to seal a power steering oil resevior to the pump? (Seat Ibiza 2010)**
A: If there is an O ring or a gasket, Blue Hylomar will help seal,  if there is neither then use high grade silicone.
