**Q: Can I use these to explore caves?**
A: Of course you can, but forget the long freaking extension cord and Tesla coils that were suggested. I would drag a big old honking generator in there with you, one of those 5000 watt types... oh yeah, don't forget several 5 gallon cans of gas, you will need the extra fuel for extended stays in the cave. I mean, what could be better to explore a cave with than a flickering orange light for poor visibility and all that noise created by the generator echoing through the cave. Why I bet that would even drive the Bats Batty. I hope this helps, Enjoy!

A: There is no holder or remote. It’s just a light bulb. You just screw it into any light fixture or sconce. I have mine in sconces (fixtures) on each side of my front door.

The lights look and the flaming movement looks good. However, after using the lights outdoors for the last few years in a lamppost which is safe from rain and snow, they become brittle. I went to remove the bulb from the fixture as I was installing a new electric eye and the light house which is plastic literally crumbled in my hand. So, it is still sitting the lamppost, the led's are mounted in a paper like material and it is still working. For something that is cheaply made this sez a lot about the light. If you ever need to replace the bulb after being outside for any length of time, be careful removing it. Once it warms up, I will remove and put in the spare one.
