The adjustability is excellent and I ended up installing them horizontally for more coverage and hoping that it less like jail bars. I wish there were versions with thinner bars and also ones that allowed bedroom fire escape. Also white color choice would be a nice option to have. But those are just suggestions for improvement/more choices. You can't go wrong with these. I will order more at some point.
