**Q: many thanks to bryan, how would you use ,add dry or mix with water and how much as you say quite potent?**
A: Mix with water, I would start with 1/4 tsp of powder all depends how red you want your food.

**Q: Is this flavourless as I just used one that’s very salty**
A: As far as I'm aware there is no taste, I use it for curry marinade so it's mixed with lots of spices I very rarely use salt so I think I would notice it if was salty.

**Q: would this be strong enough to colour a chocolate red velvet cake a good red colour**
A: I have only used this to colour Onions pickle. And just a pinch turns it Red as the packet.

**Q: is this suitable to colour pork to create chinese char siui**
A: Yes, use small amount, I used it for s&s sauce, and tikka chicken, its very potent
