I use it on stretched canvases for abstract painting using pallette knives. Very easy to use and spread, dries quite quickly, I would say approximatly half hour to an hour or so and the look at the end is amazing. The paste is great for creating some 3-D effects and giving paintings depth and texture. There is one minor issue that I found. This could be because I use this on canvas: The paste, once dried, cracks quite easily. Solution: I apply a paint sealer and it gives it a fantastic protection film. Overall, amazing product. Yes, it will stick to glass and form a clear skin. You'll need to make sure the glass is free from grease and dust. How resilient it will be over a period of time is another question.
