Review: Great germination rate - Great germination rate. Super tiny seeds so just sprinkled them on top of seed pods. Within a week lots of germination. Will thin out eventually. Hoping color variations are nice and a good variety of the types shown.
Review: good germination rate - Germination rate was really good on these seeds, I don't know how many plants I got out of this but i will be able to make a big coleus display this summer on my porch.

## Features

- Plants: Coleus is a tender perennial that produces cheery and colorful foliage. They typically prefer areas of partial shade to almost full shade and go great in pots and containers.
- Growth: Coleus will grow to a mature height of about 18 to 30 inches tall and can spread out about 8 to 12 inches wide. The seeds are easily established by surface sowing and misting lightly.
- Colors: This mixture produces many different colors in the foliage. Some leaves will be mixes of green and yellow, some with pure green, and others with dark to light reds with green.
- Quality: All seeds packaged by Seed Needs are intended for the current and the following growing seasons. All seeds are stored in a temperature controlled facility that is free of significant amounts of moisture.
- Quantity: Seed Needs offers generous quantities. You can share with friends and family, or you can save the extra seeds until the following season, if properly stored.
- Packets: Each seed packet displays an artful illustration of the variety to be grown, as well as detailed seed sowing information on the reverse side. They measure 3.5" wide by 5" tall.
- Promise: Seed Needs will never knowingly supply GMO based seed products. The vast majority of our seeds are open pollinated & heirloom, with the exception of a few hybrids.
- Germination: Seed Needs packets contain some of the freshest seed available. Direct from the growers. If sown correctly, you will begin seeing results in only a matter of days.
- Freshness: All seeds are packaged in tear resistant and moisture resistant packaging. This keeps the seeds a whole lot fresher than the competitions selection!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are these perennials and will they tolerate zone 3-4 Winters?**
A: Coleus are treated as Annual plant in my zone 7. I believe they were tropical plants from Asian country (don't remember exactly which country). If I remember right, the first 40+ degrees in Oct killed them all in my yard. But it's so easy to grow them from cuttings that I had cut a few stems off of each varieties and I started them inside. I have good collections of coleus in several pots indoor. In late Spring, I'm planning on put them out in the ground again! It was my first year, but Coleus is the easiest plant to grow indoor and outdoor. I love them! You will too once you grow your own coleus from seeds! ;)

**Q: how many varitiys in the mix?**
A: I got 6-7 different kinds.

**Q: Are these seeds from USA?**
A: Yes they're from New Baltimore Michigan

**Q: Are these outside plants and do they die in winter and how to take cuttings off the plant**
A: That's 3 questions. They can be outdoor plants, but if kept outdoors, they will die in winter. They will be year round inside. To take cuttings, cut off a decent sized sprig, remove the lower leaves, place in clean water until roots grow.
