They're great for when the power goes out. They each come with 2 small velcro strips to secure them to the wall without using screws, but I don't know that they are actually big enough to do the job (haven't tried the velcro yet). There are also mounting holes on the back if you choose to use screws.I use one of these in the bathroom with batteries that are close to dead. Now when I use the bathroom in the middle of the night, I can turn on this light and have plenty of light to see but avoid the blinding light of the regular light. It's a good use of those batteries that no longer give your flashlight the light you need but will give you hours of low light for the bathroom application. If you need bright light, these lights will do the job (with good batteries). Mount one in several rooms, and you'll never have to go looking for a flashlight when the power goes out--and they're much safer than candles--not to mention, much brighter. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really Bright Light. It's brighter than the ten light LED lamp that's standard for over kitchen sinks. Forget the fact it looks like a light switch. It's a super bright light that's light and easy to mount and a great deal for the price. I used a hard plastic fastener that looks like Velcro but is meant for the outdoors. Scotch makes it. It holds better. I've got no overhead light in the closet. I put these at the heights I needed- I need to see shoes on floor. It was a game changer under the bathroom sink. I put these in the kitchen cabinets that are low, near the floor, and get no light.
