I think because of some older reviews mentioning the lights not working if the bulbs weren't screwed in tightly enough, that maybe they were getting a higher number of returns for "defective" lights that weren't actually defective, that the decided to install the bulbs at the factory. I'm merely speculating, but it would make sense. In any case, the bulbs are in fact already (and properly) installed, so it's just a matter of hang it up and plug it in.I also used a TP-Link Kasa Outdoor Smart Dimmer so that I can voice control and schedule the lights.
