I returned for a second one, and it has not one but two of the feet with metal sticking out. I was to scared to try on my pots, as most have a non-stick and/or ceramic coating I was worried would be scratched. The seller--or Amazon? were great at allowing me to return the item. I did an experiment using a pot of water and it started out impressive but then kinda drifted to one side and stayed there.
