These made a remarkable difference and wearing the aids on rides OK. I did have to mess around with my helmet straps a little so the product would sit closer to the front of my ears but once that was done I was happy with them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars It works. Really. *by G***. on Reviewed in the United States on September 14, 2023* I'm deaf, and must wear hearing aids to function. Cycling without my hearing aids is not an option. I must have full hearing to remain safe. On the other hand, I have been tormented by wind noise for years. So much so that I started riding less and less. I finally decided to see if there was some product out there that could help me. So, I purchased the Classic Cat-Ears, although I didn't have much of an expectation for success. Well, IT WORKS. From my very first ride I saw a 95% reduction in wind noise. And my auditory function for street noise was not effected at all. The instructions suggest having glasses temple pieces outside the helmet straps (and the Cat-Ears as well). I didn't find that was necessary. They work fine with the temple pieces inside (i.e. medial to) the straps. One reviewer said he didn't like the way the Cat-Eyes looked. My helmet straps are black, and my wife said she could barely see the Cat-Eyes. (Frankly, I don't care what I look like while riding. One of the benefits of being 71 years old.) In summary, this is a terrific product that allows me for the first time to enjoy cycling without battling wind noise. I don't review products very often, but I had to in this case. It was well-worth the small investment. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Yes, wind noise reduction *by Y***V on Reviewed in the United States on October 30, 2022* I got both the Slim and Classic versions to test. Started out with the Slim on one ear only. Knew within 100 feet it worked. I can only guess that those who said it doesn't work tried both ears at once so didn't have an immediate AB test. And if you did it in a noisy environment like a highway or busy street, it is difficult to discern wind noise.Even for those who mount both at once, there is an easy way to tell if they are working, simply point your eyes straight down at the road: you will hear immediate wind noise as the Cat-Ears are now out of the picture. For the same reason, I'd guess that these will not work for triatheletes or time trialers on elbow rests, the Cat-Eyes simply won't be in the wind in front of your ears and cannot trip the wind around your ears.I switched ears just in case, but same story, the ear with the Slim Cat-Eyes had a dramatic reduction in wind noise versus the other side.Next I tried one ear with a Classic, and one ear with a Slim. Identical performance with head forward interestingly enough (virtually no wind on tested day). However when head is turned even only 30 degrees, the Classic still tripped the wind, and the Slim did not. The Classic will worked at even greater head angles. Tested both versions with both ears as well. Same story.So guess which one I sent back? Yup, the Slim. Super benefit for having to wear a helmet - I mostly don't and listen to a lot of wind noise but headed for Australia/New Zealand to go touring where it is the law.Downsides?
