They try to be good--they label all the parts (though the fact that the piece that connects the ring light to the arm is already attached to the light threw me for quite awhile, since they are shown separately in the instructions). But then they call things different names in the actual instructions. The piece that attaches the device to your table? It's called a 2-in-1 C Clamp in the What You Get section, but called the "upper base" in the installation instructions. The actual arm of the device is called a 360 Flexible Overhead Mount... until you get to the instructions and it's called "the bracket." Fortunately, once you get all the pieces out and stop worrying about setting it up, it's not difficult. And the fact that there are images in the instructions do help to compensate for the bad writing.I really like the ring light! After using this to take some pics of me using biometric ID for a work project... which aren't great, but I'm no hand model, I decided to set up the device behind my computer to see how much the ring light enhanced my already enhanced Zoom. It definitely made a difference! And even more of a difference when using horrible Teams video that values truth over beauty and makes me look 105 worry-filled years old.I've had this for quite awhile... but every time I looked at the instructions for setting it up a great 105 year old weariness came upon me and I never set it up. It's truly not hard--now that I've done it, I'm excited to start filming some art stuff.
