When wearing this coat we can take him out on a hot day and he is fine, barely pants and he looks far happier and able to do his usual things. We bought the medium size and it fit an adult male Boxer just right. Just soak the coat in water, make sure you actually soak it and not just run it under a tap as it will dry out quicker if not properly soaked. He didn’t like it at first but is grateful for it once he’s hot so we put it in half way round our walk. I’ve found the area on the top of his back does start to dry out after an hour but the rest remains damp so he’s probably still getting most of the benefits and I can soak it again if I’ve enough water with me.
