The only lining I can find is that it does charge, BUT every time mine charges 1% it disconnects then reconnects. It is charging the phone, but not without that minor inconvenience. Very annoying to hear the connecting tone/vibration on my phone every few minutes. Also, I like to use my Waze app through my navigation screen in my vehicle...can't do that. While it is plugged in and syncing, the navigation screen stops and sends me a "searching for phone" message every time it disconnects/reconnects. Since that happens with every 1% of charge, it is unusable. I can't see myself sticking with this phone charger case. As I am typing this, I have felt my phone vibrate 6 different times with disconnect/reconnect. I will be returning. Hope I'm in the small percent of people that its not working for. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Extra power when needed *by K***E on Reviewed in the United States on November 29, 2017* This is a great case. It is also a great battery. This battery case has a nice soft, grippy rubbery feel all around. It has precise cutouts with a toggle switch for the volume bottom. It is a 2 piece case with a bumper that goes around the edges of the iPhone. The backing case is flat with the lightning connector on the bottom. On the back is the power button. Simply push it to start charging your iPhone. There are also 4 indicator lights that tell u how much battery is left. This case is slimmer in price and physically. Some of the other models had a bump in the back which was the battery encased. Price wise, this costs much less than the other battery cases out there. Great quality and seems it will last for a while. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy and well constructed case! Leave your battery backup at home! *by T***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 4, 2017* The Maxboost battery backup case fits my iPhone 8 Plus perfectly and provides all around protection thanks to its slim two-piece design that protects against scratches, bumps or drops. I really like the feel of cases rubberized body to improve the grip to help offset the added weight. I’m impressed with the built in 4000 mah battery which provided a full recharge when my iPhone was less than 10 percent. The only thing I had a hard time deciding to give 5 stars was the micro usb input as I couldn’t use my Apple lighting headphones or to charge it with my Qi wireless inductive charger.
