Arrived first day of promised date range. Easy to install (don’t need a new cable that some sources recommend). Plenty of info on-line for formatting and OS install. Performs as expected: faster than original mechanical HD. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Saved my MBP *by S***F on May 29, 2019* My 2010 MBP was dying and disk tools showed SMART status failing on old drive. Checked out the specs and the helpful installation video and ordered this SSD from OWC, plus doubled my storage from 500GB to 1TB and for a really great price. I received the drive promptly and within an hour of delivery had it installed and ready for the Time Machine transfer back of all my files and apps. The actual installation into the MBP was a snap and took no time at all, just follow the instructions, use static precautions and the right tools for the job. My MBP is back up and running happily now, and the new drive is faster and lots of storage to expand into.
