I have used them for several different projects, including lashing together a DIY air purifier and temporarily suspending my desktop computer under my desk while I installed an under-desk mount. They were more than capable of holding my roughly 30 pound computer tower. I looped one around the desk and used a second strap to brace it laterally, and it felt completely secure during the setup process. What really sets these apart is how simple they are to tighten. I much prefer this cranking-style mechanism over traditional ratchet straps where you have to pull and re-pull the strap to get it tight. The crank makes it very easy to dial in tension without fighting the strap. Overall, they are strong, straightforward to use, and versatile for a wide range of projects.
