**Q: Appropriate for left handed cooks?**
A: I would assume so. You would probably stir in a different direction than what a right handed person would stir.

**Q: Where is this made? In US?**
A: There is no stamping on spoon saying such. Only thing on spoon is Louisiana Roux Spoon Company, New Orleans.  The spoon company is located in Covington, LA....so I'm assuming it is made in USA.  I know I love it and use it a lot. Great for dipping beans, soup, etc. Also great for scraping bottom of pots and skillets if frying or making gravy.

**Q: Does it come in a left handed option**
A: Sorry but only right handed on the roux spoons.

I purchased this spoon 3 years ago, and I must say I have never been disappointed with its usefulness. It's the ultimate cooking spoon for any skillet or pot (not for Teflon). We cook in cast iron on a daily basis and this spoon is the perfect match for cast iron. It has a good length, weight and well. This spoon is made of stainless steel and will last you for a lifetime.

I love this spoon! It has a long handle that is great for stirring big pots. It also works great as a serving spoon. As others have stated it is thin. I almost didn't buy it because of the reviews but I am so happy that I did. It is very sturdy and fits my hand perfectly for making gravies and roux. Just perfect!
