I bought this boot because it was low profile and I planned on wearing them when riding my motorcycle. I wasnt a teva customer and I didn't particularly like the idea of a zipper on my foot. However, I really liked the style/gray color and for what a paid ($50) I gave it a shot.These boots use surprisingly good leather and i think that is where they focused most of their attention. The zipper works great and it's ease of use has become something I'll look for in other boots for the future. These are literally the most comfortable boots I've ever worn which is because their light weight, easily broken in, but mostly due to the soft out-soles.The one main issue I have is that the soles are made of a soft rubber, which wears down fast when used on a motorcycle. Similar to the soles of women's ugg boots. The sole could also have a more aggressive tread pattern for better grip. The other annoyance is that the leather didn't absorb a silicone water proofing spray that I apply to all my boots.Unfortunately for me, these boots didn't work out for what I intended to use them for. However, I'm seriously considering buying another pair because their that comfortable. Overall, these are high quality, light weight boots and for the price I don't think you can go wrong. The comfort these boots provide is better then other boots triple their price. ### ⭐⭐⭐ ... that I bought about a year ago and absolutely love. They fit great and are extremely comfortable. So I wanted to get another pair just like them in black. While these are identical to the brown ones I love, the laces are WAY to short. I have to remove the laces from the top two holes just to get the length that makes them comfortable and I can tie them. My old brown ones have plenty of excess lace to go all the way up to the top and double tie with little 2-3" loops left. So I'm left looking for longer laces to replace the short ones that these came with. They're comfortable and light, look great with jeans, are easy to put on and take off with the side zipper, and fit great. They're definitely not a heavy duty work boot, but a as person who splits work time between a downtown city office and out "in the field" on my feet in mixed conditions, I think these boots are great for every occasion.
