For me personally I get caught up on my phone and then feel guilty about it later because I don’t get as much done. I have ADHD really bad and I’m gonna stay at home mom but I also homeschool. And when I get on my phone too much, it truly can distract me from being present. Having this and being able to set times where I can’t absolutely use my phone until the time runs out just makes it so much better for me. I’m very stubborn and sometimes screen time I do not disturb just isn’t enough! But this is the icing on the cake because it eliminates the distraction completely and the ability to actually use it. So I have no choice, but to be present and get the things done I need to set my intention on outside of my device. I just let my husband know when I’m going to be locking my phone up and he gets a break from me 😅 but doesn’t have to worry if anything is wrong. He thinks it’s a great idea for me because he’s also been concerned about my phone addiction.
