I wish i had bought it years ago! However i have not tried a battery chain saw on it BUT it is very sturdy and i can see no reason why it would not work. My only criticism of it is that it is a shame it does not take bigger logs. **Q: Can it be adjusted to suit left handed people?** A: Yes it's quite simple, remove a black cap from the top of the left leg ready to replace in the right leg. Then all you need then is a set of allen keys and spanner to reattach the universal fixing the opposite way around for the chain saw. **Q: What would be the largest diameter of log that you could cut? Thanks** A: Depends somewhat on your chain bar - an electric saw with a narrow bar will give a bit more clearance as will mounting your saw higher in the clamp. It very well built and sturdy and it makes handling the chainsaw very safe with very little or no chance of kick back. It is very easy to assemble from opening the box to start using it took 20 mins. If you cut a lot of logs then this is the saw horse for you.
