I cut the lid off the can with one of those can openers that breaks the seal on the edge and pour it into 1 liter glass olive oil bottles saved from other brands. No metal shards to fall into your olive oil. No sharp edges either, so you can reuse the tin as a container or vase. Just be sure to wash your bottles before you reuse them.
