I realised almost immediately that I'd made a mistake as I needed the larger sliding version, so I sold it and bought this one. What a difference! This is an amazing machine. I don't know how I've managed all these years without one. Really well made and solid, not at all plasticky. Very accurate. The laser is indispensable. It cuts smoothly and precisely, leaving an edge which can be used immediately without sanding. It works just as well for cutting tiles (with a diamond blade), and for cutting metal. Don't think because it's not expensive that it's not professional. The Saw came well packed with nothing missing. a robust, and comprehensive bit of kit. I found the instruction book was easy to understand, and was up and running within 1/2 an hour.The power unit is ample, and cuts wood like a hot knife through butter.
