I had a luggage scale previously (which I gave to a relative) but it was heavier and more awkward to use. I've used it for two holiday and it has been very accurate comparing it with airport scales. Excellant product highly recommended, Could save you un-nessary baggage charges. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not up to spec *by M***N on 5 November 2013* My scales look exactly like the photo, but do not function quite as advertised in that there is no audible "beep" when the scales lock, so the screen needs to be checked instead. The instructions say the screen will blink when the weight has locked, this does not happen either, instead a small and difficult to read "H" appears. The whole point of the "beep" is that you don't have to look at the screen when holding the luggage.The battery was difficult to fit as the small holder did not push back into the body easily, and the advertised spare was not supplied.No idea yet how reliable or accurate they are. [2014-01-04 edit: Finally checked at airport and came out within about .1 kg for three bags around 20kg, errors were to over-read. I was impressed.]2014-01-01 More: One problem is that when you hold the bags so that you can see when the "H" appears it is not easy to keep the scales steady so that the display stops changing and locks, so it is almost easier to simply take the "average" of the changing figures, which kind of defeats the purpose of a lock function. Maybe I'm just not steady enough.A pity as these looked like the best of the bunch when I compared them to the others (in this price range).Also the journey from Hong Kong took over six weeks total, ie two weeks longer than advertised, they were despatched promptly though.
