**Q: International carry on, is this 55l pack compliant with carry on international flights?  not the cheap ones of course.  but like swiss air or lufthan,**
A: I took this on American Airlines international and British Airways and I was fine. I did not have the daypack very packed, but it was strapped to the front and it was still okay.

**Q: On one of the reviews it mentioned a crossbody carrying strap included to carry as luggage. I don’t see it in my pack. Is this a separate purchase?**
A: Yes, mine came with a strap that I could  use to carry it over my shoulder and leave straps for the backpack zipped inside ..  will use that when changing multiple lodges in africa as I won’t be trekking far, just need to carry it to our vehicles before leaving in morning

**Q: is it waterproof?**
A: No, most likely minimal water resistant. I carry a pack cover.

**Q: Is the 55 the same bag as the 40 but with the day pack added?**
A: I believe so… although I only own the 40….
