She is a spectacles-wearer, and without them would struggle with a normal mirror. When her previous magnifying mirror became too weak (or more accurately, her eyesight deteriorated) I scoured the web for a more powerful one. The criteria was that it had to be high magnification, well made and visually attractive, and this hit all three. This was a big hit! the magnification is so strong its too powerful for me to focus on (my eyesight is 20:20), but for her it works perfectly, she really loves it. Its well made and has a reversible 'normal' mirror on one side, and the super-magnification side on the reverse. The mirror is very well made and has a good heavyweight feel to it, not at all flimsy. It's been used daily since I bought it and is still in great condition, the chrome finish is still bright and the swivel (where the mirror rotates so you can use the different sides) is still free-turning and solid.
