Alessandro Cortini ist den meisten sicherlich durch seine Mitarbeit bei Nine Inch Nails oder Ladytron ein Begriff. Mit "Sonno" legt der Musiker aus Italien ein Solo Werk vor und das kann sich hören lassen!Vorweg: Es handelt sich bei diesem Album um ein Instrumental Album welches sicherlich nicht für den Normal Hörer konzipiert worden ist, jedoch für die, die gerne minimalistische Elektronische Klänge hören."Sonno" könnte man als "Silent Industrial" bezeichnen (manche brauchen Schubladen) und zu den Klängen hier kann man nicht tanzen, nicht mitsingen aber man kann ihnen lauschen! Es zirpt an allen Ecken und rauscht und kratzt, wird selten laut und man fühlt sich wie in der Filmmusik eines Film: Düster, bedrohlich aber trotz aller Schwärze hat dieses kleine elektronische Meisterwerk eine gewisse Art der Wärme. Ja sicher: Die Beeinflussung von Nine Inch Nails und Trent Reznor (vor allen die Soundtrack Arbeiten!) lässt sich nicht verleugnen, aber auch Verweise zu den Soundtrack Arbeiten eines John Carpenter lassen sich hier finden.Tja, was ist es nun? Industrial, Minimal Elektro, Dark Ambient? Nun, ich mag keine Schubladen aber irgendwo in diesen Gefilden kann man Cortini's Solo Album ansiedeln. Letztendlich ist aber nur eines wichtig: "Sonno" ist ein Meisterwerk seiner Art. Wer mit dieser Art von elektronischer Musik was anfangen kann und nicht immer den selben Rotz hören will, der wird mir sicherlich zustimmen und hier eine Perle für sich entdecken. Gerechtfertigte volle Punktzahl!

Bellissimo album di Cortini con tante tracce introspettive. Un vero talento che sperimenta ed "usa" la musica a livello terapeutico. Consiglio anche Risveglio lavoro collegato a questo.
