Review: I love these patches. Marching my skin tone is a big plus ! - It’s the closest to my skin tone as I’ll get. I love it because I don’t feel like a cyborg walking around with my device in my bare skin. It’s a good camouflage and perfectly sized… and stays on the full 10 days. Only downsides are that it does its job so well that it is pretty hard to pull off so you will definitely need to purchase some sort of adhesive remover… and the length of time you have to wait for delivery compared to the other color design choices. There is enough in the pack to last a while… even with the 3 system malfunctions I had, all device performance issues not related to the patch.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is the non adhesive hole big enough to go over a quick set without taking it with it when you remove the tape?**
A: I love these, and I plan to get more soon. Not sure about "going over a quick set" - I can say it fits over a Freestyle Libre sensor very nicely. There ARE several useful things to know: 1: Plan out how you're going to apply this patch using only one hand (being in front of a mirror helps) if the sensor you are covering is on the back of one arm. 2: You do want to get a smooth seal all the way around, to keep out water when showering (the patch DOES stick securely for more than two weeks if you get a good seal). 3: The patch WILL STRETCH slightly, which helps.  You will want to practice matching the center of the non-adhesive hole with the center of the sensor surface. Because YES, if you apply it off-center to one side or another, when you remove the tape it will "tug" on the sensor a little. It helps that the peel-off-backing comes off in four parts - I've learned to peel off one of the narrow sides,then work from the center of the non-adhesive hole out over the edge of the sensor and out to the edge of the patch; stick it down smoothly, then peel off the other narrow side and slightly STRETCH the patch over the sensor and smooth it flat, working from the center out to the opposite edge. Peel the backing off of one of the remaining wider sides and again slightly stretch it as you smooth it down from center to edge, then repeat the process with the final side. The adhesive does seem to stick even better with the application of hot water, so I've been shaving an area the size of the patch (out of enlightened self interest), then wiping down that entire area with isopropyl alcohol, applying the sensor, and then finally the patch. The isopropyl for the area prep works reasonably well to remove the adhesive remaining from any previous patch, although you will probably want more isopropyl than comes on the two tiny "wet-wipes" in the Freestyle Libre sensor kit. The SECOND Kleenex out of a box (not the top one) will usually be reasonably sterile, and a capful or two of isopropyl will make sure. Hope this info helps.

Don’t follow the instructions peel off the Band-Aid and then put it on the body over the libre patch. It’s very hard to get the sticker off once you’ve applied it to your skin.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sometimes the patch last 2 weeks, many times it doesn't.

Sometimes it last 14 days, but many times it doesn't. I use it with the Libre 3, now 3+. More times than not, the patch starts to peel before the 14 days are up. The patch I currently have on has started to peel after only 7 days. So I use an athletic adhesive to glue the loose edges of the patch. Sometimes I just remove the patch and apply a new one. It surely needs a stronger adhesive that will last the full two weeks. Otherwise I do like the patch. Also, just an observation, I don't know why some people have some trouble removing them, having to apply an oil, etc. After two weeks I just rip the patch off. I have never found that painful. It removes as easily as a band aid. So what's the big deal? :) As I've stated, after two weeks the adhesive is starting to fail anyway, not much stickiness left. I have been using the patches for a couple of years now. I do like the price, as the closest competitor is much more expensive. Sometimes I do get a bit of skin irritation after removing the patch, but a little alcohol cleaning with a little triple antibiotic usually clears it up fairly quickly. Now with the Libre 3+ I need a patch that will last the full 15 days. I haven't tried swimming with the patch yet either, and I do avoid drying the patch with a blow dryer after showering.
