Become really handy around for bunch of projects. Great for detailed work, hobbyist, working with models and miniatures, craft projects etc. Ability to exchange blades is a huge plus. It's very sharp and cuts well, works great so far. Comes with two blades, both blades are same 42 tpi (teeth per inch). One is 3/4" deep and other one is 1" deep(X-acto # X234 and X235). My only two cents - do not buy it with Excel Mitre Box as I did and as was recommended by Amazon. Blades are not deep enough to cut thru unless you going to put something underneath of piece you want to cut. See photos for more details.
