**Q: How many pieces come in this set?**
A: Hey there, one fork and one spoon (with serrated edge that acts as a knife).

**Q: These are difficult to slide when opening and closing. Does anyone have a trick to fix that?  I love everything about them other than that...**

The more the flatware set is used, the easier it will be to slide in and out of their sets. 
 
You could pull the fork and spoon completely out and stress the side springs by squeezing them repeatedly to force the spring to not be as stiff. This would allow the fork and spoon to slide more easily within the set.

**Q: What is the case made of? If you put the dirty utensils back in the case, the case is dirty. How do you clean the case?**
A: Hey there the case can be cleaned by hand or even by dishwasher is necessary, the case is made of HDPE, High Density PolyEthylene.

A: It is! You can take it in your carry on or checked bag.

I really like this product because it is very compact and light, such that I could put it in whatever pockets I have and carry it with me always.It is also very easy and fast to use. Just slide the spoon or fork out and it will automatically lock into place with its pairs of spring action rails hidden behind it. The amazing thing is the thin profile of the spoon and the fork even with the lock included.It is noticed that the back of one edge of the spoon have some serrations on it which are invisible from the front. I think it is meant for cutting meat, but the unexposed serrations will make it less sharp for cutting. I think it is a good compromise to reduce the chance of hurting the user when being used as a spoon.I also like the design of the credit card size plastic backplate which allows the spoon and the fork to be stored in an organized way.I also like its choice of materials. Stainless steel is not as fancy as titanium, but its compact design still allows it to be made very light.Overall I find it to be a very useful product.

This is my second purchase of the GoSun reusable flatware. My first set had been around the world with me several times, was a staple in my purse, and had been used to consume yogurts in Germany, put spreads onto bread in France, and more. However, it befell an unfortunate garbage disposaling.When I tell you I immediately bought the replacement, I am not kidding. That is how fabulous these are. They pack so small and flat, yet expand to full size in a snap. They wash up well in public bathrooms or with a wipe from a baby wipe. If you prefer to grab-and-go for your food rather than have a full restaurant experience, there's no excuse not to have flatware with you all the time. And if you prize something flat and light which will tuck easily into a wallet, this is your gem in the rough.The second set I got had little etched spoon and fork on the outer sheath, which my original set did not. This is a useful upgrade as now you don't have to pry the utensil out of the case just to see whether you got the one you intended.Oh, and the fork can stab salads. This is not often true of reusable flatware meant to be carried while out and about.

These are perfect to keep in your bag or pocket in case of emergency. The fork works great. As others have said the spoon is not really a spoon for liquids, but for something like ice cream it works or if you need to shove food in your mouth. It works as a knife also. Quality feels good.
