Now the scratch is invisible from direct viewing during normal use (success!), but when viewed from an angle or viewing a low brightness image in a dark room you can still see a remnant of the scratch and the glossy polished area around it in contrast to the normal matte finish of the screen. **Q: What is coverage or treatment areas in square feet or inches for 8 oz pack?** A: It would depend on the type of material you are polishing and how scratched up it is. I found that a little bit goes quite a way. I used about 5 oz total to polish a heavily scratched UTV windshield, 16 SF total. Once you get it worked into your polishing cloth or buffer wheel it stays in there and keeps working for quite a while. Hope this helps. **Q: can it remove scratches of cds** A: I've used it successfully on scratched CDs and CVDs. It can remove relatively light scuffs but there is some limit- it seems that really ugly scratches can't be fixed. I've tried using 1200 grit wet/dry sandpaper on these, followed by the Novus. Results exceeded expectations, plastic (some clear panels like a sunroof on Mercedes A-class and some black trim) is now shining and much improved. Following instructions I used a cordless drill with a buffing pad on a slow speed which cut the time down considerably but be prepared to take your time, the more you work at it the better the results!
