I have now used the kit several times and I am delighted with it. Professional had a quick look at it for me (needed help tying hook to the end of the line ) and he reckoned it was a strong rod with a capable reel. Thought it was an ideal combination to fish with and represented excellent value for money. have caught fish with it but as yet nothing worthy of the chef's attention but that's not the fault of rod and reel.
