LeatherFace is back in this film along with a weirder and creeper family if you can imagine.LeatherFace even gets a new chainsaw from his new family in this film and hes eager to test it out on some unsuspecting people who dont know what there in for.This movie surprised me at parts.It had me guessing who could LeatherFace be back with since his old family died????Well he just gets a new one and its back to square 1 for him. The setting in this film is by far the creepiest of all the TCM movies. i really like the new characters in this film and for the most part they did a great job playing there part. This film gets 5 stars from me cause i think it does a great job bringing the series to a close. yes i do now that there is a 4th texas Chainsaw Massacre film but i saw it and hated it so i think that this movie is a great ending to the series. if you feel like checking out the 4th film do so but you will be disapointed in it.LeatherFace is the most intimidating in this film. He looks somewhat similair to how he looked in the first film which i really liked.What i liked the most of all about this film is that they had Ken Foree in it you know the guy in George a Romero's Dawn of the Dead????? For me that makes this film even better then it already is which is fantastic cause Ken is such a great actor. FOUR YEARS AFTER TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2 WAS RELEASED ( 2 BEING MY FAVORITE OF THE SERIES) NOW IF MY MEMORY SERVES ME CORRECTLY WHEN PART 3 WAS ORIGINALLY SET TO BE RELEASED THERE WERE A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH THE RATINGS BOARD SO THE DIRECTOR HAD TO KEEP GOING BACK AND RE CUTTING THE FILM IN ORDER TO GET IT DOWN TO AN R RATING BECAUSE OF THE BLOOD AND VIOLENCE. NOW PART 3 IS A DEPARTURE FROM PART 2. PART 2 WAS MORE OF A DARK COMEDY PART 3 IS MUCH MORE GRUESOME AND VIOLENT. A LOT OF QUESTIONS ARE LEFT UN ANSWERED. SUCH AS AT THE END OF PART 2 LEATHER FACES ENTIRE FAMILY IS KILLED OR BLOWN UP BY A GRENADE EVEN THE CHARACTER OF GRANDPA.
