With 4AH battery, it appears that the light would last nearly eight hours based on it using about 50% of the battery life in a 4 hour power outage. The light is sturdy and well made. Review: Very bright light and seems well made. On/off trigger button is slightly hard to operate, requires quite a pull that some would find difficult. This is the only complaint, otherwise very happy with purchase.
