In contrary to Le Roi, Le Comte has been complemented with a very exquisite African Robusta (10%). · STORY · Premium 100% Arabica blends are known for having a smooth and clean taste. Roasted robusta beans, however, typically produce a stronger, full-bodied coffee. When used in little quantities, their powerful flavour can be desirable to give a blend more depth and strength, similar to a dash of black pepper on a fine tenderloin steak. Contrary to the common Robusta that is typically found in Vietnam or Brazil, the rare Robusta we chose for our 90:10 Le Comte has a more elegant and sophisticated flavour. I really did expect more. To my taste, this has hardly any flavour, and is not strong at all. I use my De Longhi Dedica to make coffee every morning and to be honest, it doesn't taste of anything much, and is nothing like the product description of ' Roasted robusta beans, however, typically produce a stronger, full-bodied coffee.
