So for those who are looking for a comparison, there is none. Universal Audio products, from my experience, are not long-term investments. The Apollo would constantly disconnect from my computer, crashing my sessions. I'd have to restart my system to get it to come back online. Lost days of my life doing this, over and over again. I decided to buy this version of the Antelope Zen Go to take advantage of my PC motherboard's rather unique Thunderbolt connector. Installation was easy. Where I ran into a problem was getting my PC and interface to talk to each other via my Thunderbolt cable. To do this, I downloaded a free app, mentioned deep in the Antelope Site, called Voice Meeter. From there I was able to assign the Zen Go to my monitor speakers. After that everything worked. No pops. No clicks. No noise. No disconnects. No crashes. The thing just works. Now I have a powerful, clean connection from PC to Speakers. It's all I need really. I haven't road tested the preamps yet. I'm told they are excellent, but I'll probably switch them off in favor of my external Earthworks 521 ZDT when it comes time to recording. I also downgraded from 2 stereo 1/4" outputs to one stereo 1/4" output. This was deliberate as I only need my monitors and headphones to mix, knowing how to run a mono signal through them, and am retiring my Behritone mono cube. I will also miss the direct Hi Z guitar interface my Apollo had. Buying a Zen Q would account for both of these shortcomings, but you can definitely play guitar through the Zen Go by messing with the controls and using the rear line in. Plus there is a wealth of guitar amp emulators Antelope offers for free when you register the device. I am very happy with my purchase and am never looking back. ## Features - STUDIO-GRADE RECORDING: This XLR audio interface captures pristine audio with professional preamps, delivering broadcast-ready sound for music, podcasts, and voiceovers - anywhere inspiration strikes. - VERSATILE CONNECTIVITY: The interface for recording music seamlessly connects via Thunderbolt 3, working as an audio interface for Mac and PC systems while drawing power directly from your device - no extra cables needed. - DURABLE DESIGN: This XLR interface features solid metal housing that shields internal components from impacts and wear, while simplified controls eliminate unnecessary buttons for reliable, intuitive operation during mobile sessions. - DUAL INPUT FLEXIBILITY: Record vocals and instruments through two combo audio interface XLR inputs with preamps, supporting dynamic/condenser mics and line-level sources. - PROFESSIONAL EFFECTS: The extensive built-in processing suite in our audio interface for pc includes compression, EQ, reverb, and modeled analog effects that enhance your recordings in real-time, letting you capture processed audio with ultra-low latency ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0B6Q6BF7F | | Best Sellers Rank | #48,599 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #403 in Audio Interfaces | | Compatible Devices | Personal Computer | | Connector | Thunderbolt 3 | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars (16) | | Date First Available | 2 March 2023 | | Generic Name | Audio Interface | | Item Dimensions LxWxH | 11.7 x 19.8 x 5.8 Centimeters | | Item Weight | 699 g | | Item model number | Zen Go Syngery Core Thunderbolt | | Manufacturer | Antelope Audio | | Operating System | Windows | | Product Dimensions | 11.68 x 19.81 x 5.84 cm; 698.53 g | | Proficiency Level | Professional | | Supported Software | Windows-compatible software | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Antelope Audio - **Compatible Devices:** Personal Computer - **Connectivity Technology:** XLR, Thunderbolt 3 - **Number of Channels:** 4 - **Supported Software:** Windows-compatible software ## Images ![Zen Go Synergy Core, Audio Interface, 4x8 Bus-Powered Thunderbolt 3 Interface for Recording, with Onboard Real-Time Audio Recording Effects, XLR Interface, Suitable for Podcast Set Up - Antelope Audio - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61WNXKNUpeL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: How many plugins can be used simultaneously and what's the latency like?** A: You can use 8 plugins in each real input chanel. 16 plugins in total + reverb for the aux **Q: Plugins are included or we have to purchase seperatly?** A: some plugins are included, others can be purchased. check out the Antelope audio site to see which ones **Q: What's the advantage of thunderbolt over usb?** A: Hello, The TB is a faster data bus, that has lower latency. In use case sense - if you have a Mac, its a better idea to go with the TB variant and not the USB **Q: I am buying this now if I get the current offer (afx2daw, 15 plugins, Bitwig)?** A: Yes, only please make sure you're buying from the official Antelope Audio store or an authorised reseller. Once setup and all connected its workflow is excellent and the sound quality is amazing. I had to reach out to customer support to get setup in the beginning and they were very professional and responsive. They resolved my inquiry within days. ## Frequently Bought Together - Antelope Audio Zen Go Synergy Core Audio Interface w/Thunderbolt 3 Interface for Recording System w/Dual XLR Inputs & 37 Effects — Compact Metal Design for Podcasting & Music Production - Antelope Audio Edge Note Small Diaphragm Modeling XLR Microphone — Dynamic Studio Cardioid Condenser Mic for PC Gaming, Podcasting & Recording — High SPL w/Pad Attenuator for Drums, Brass & Strings --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pl/products/500741980-zen-go-synergy-core-audio-interface-4x8-bus-powered-thunderbolt](https://www.desertcart.pl/products/500741980-zen-go-synergy-core-audio-interface-4x8-bus-powered-thunderbolt) --- *Product available on Desertcart Poland* *Store origin: PL* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
