We’ve had the flap for over a year, it has been brilliant, we needed to refit it to the new French doors, so we needed this extra surround, easy to fit, full instruction with it. We’ve had some building work done and the flap was moved from the old wooden door into the new French doors. In this process, we managed to lose the screws!! Customer service at SureFlap were fantastic. I went to their website, left a message with all the flap’s and my details, within 3 working days the new screws were delivered to my door (free of charge). However, the product works perfectly, does exactly what it says it does, and was incredibly easy to set up. The cat, who has historically had a lot of problems with cat flaps (I previously had magnetic ones and he struggled to operate them properly coming in, and occasionally got stuck after collecting bits of rusty metal on his magnet), did not take to it immediately. He knew what to do but was extremely suspicious - I got the impression he found the whole thing way too easy. But after a couple of days he really got into it and now he loves his new cat flap and no longer only goes out to use the 'facilities'. For the first time in about 3 years he's actually spending more time outside than in during the day.
