I found that regarding if your in doubt the ball ends of the new strings are seated correctly in the plastic bridge pin slots to the underside of the bridge inside your guitar I put my camera phone inside the body of my guitar took a picture with the flash on to save any doubt I'd done this correctly before fixing the strings at the head end to save any excess string slipping up when you tighten the string at the head posts ...simples :) Review: Brilliant sound at a Brilliant price - Amazing. I tried playing the guitar without any strings and I found it too quite. Once I bought these strings, the guitar came alive. Seriously good at a great price. I love them ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ D'Addario 80/20 Bronze *by I***8 on 1 September 2014* Good strings with reasonable longevity. Pub player + guitar goes more or less everywhere. I make sure that I wipe them down at the end of a session. Minus 1 star because they do seem to lose that new string brilliance more quickly than say Rotosounds of an equivalent gauge; some people I know do like that, so it's really just my personal preference. However, these do seem to suit the guitar they are on - mid range solid top Yamaha - and people comment on the sound. So a nice combination all in all. What swings it for me is that I do like the fact that D'Addario publish the string tensions and these have slightly less tension than say an EJ16 - slightly easier on the fingers. Overall string choice is personal preference.
